Elizabeth Ellen was approximately 19 years old, the daughter of William Burns and Marth Mulvine Taylor. The couple are not listed in the marriage records of the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, although we know from evidence that (at least) Henry's parents were Catholic. In addition, their son, Pius Alfred Gibbar, was baptized in St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church.
