The Vincent W. Leible family (Sarah's uncle, the brother of her mother) lived in the adjacent dwelling. The August Leible family (Sarah's uncle, the half-brother of her mother) lived nearby as well.

At the time of the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, John Vincent Bohnert was 21 years old. He was living in Union Township, Perry County, Missouri with his wife, Sarah Helen Bohnert.

John and Sarah married on July 20, 1919 in Chester, Randolph County, Illinois.

At the time of the census, the coupld had one child, Trula. John's occupation was listed as carpenter. (Note that on the census, Bohnert was incorrectly spelled as "Bonest.")

John's occupation was listed as Shoe Worker.

Note that the street name (left side of census document) was Coina Street (misspelled as Corina). This street later became Edgemont Boulevard.
